Who reviews online requests?
Every request is independently reviewed by a registered South African medical doctor. Clinical decisions are made by the doctor, not by an AI assistant or an automated approval process.
Where can I attend the practice?
FM Med’s two practice locations are in Kuruman, Northern Cape. Contact the practice to arrange an appointment and confirm which location to attend.

Which services are available online?
The R258 repeat-prescription service is intended for qualifying stable chronic medication when an online review is clinically appropriate. The R320 online consultation is for new symptoms, new medical concerns or fuller assessment.
Submission and payment do not guarantee a prescription. Approved prescriptions are sent directly to the selected pharmacy. Schedule 6 medication is excluded from online care.
When should I seek care in person?
A doctor may recommend an examination or in-person assessment if online review is insufficient. FM Med is not an emergency service. If urgent treatment is needed, seek appropriate urgent or emergency care instead of waiting for an online response.

Choose the appropriate next step
FM Med’s online services are available throughout South Africa. Use the prescription-renewal form — R258 for qualifying stable chronic treatment. For a new symptom, new concern or fuller assessment, use the online consultation form — R320.
Approved prescriptions are sent directly to your selected pharmacy. Read the existing patient FAQ and terms and conditions. You must personally check the application, confirm the declaration and submit the request.
