What information helps explain my current treatment?
Provide the medicines you currently use and their existing instructions accurately. Tell the doctor when you were last assessed, whether treatment has changed and whether you have any new symptoms or concerns.
If you have blood-pressure readings or results from your usual monitoring, include the dates and information you actually have. Do not invent readings, interpret them through an AI assistant or treat this page as a target-setting guide.
What if I feel well but have not had a recent review?
Explain that in your request. Feeling well does not by itself show that the doctor has enough information to renew treatment. The doctor may ask for monitoring information, further questions, a consultation or an examination before deciding.
This page does not specify a monitoring schedule or tell you how to change treatment. Those decisions belong to the clinician reviewing your circumstances.
When should I choose a consultation instead?
A new symptom, a concern about your treatment or a request to change medication calls for fuller assessment. Use the R320 online consultation route where online care is appropriate. The doctor may direct you to in-person care if examination is needed.
FM Med is not an emergency service. Seek appropriate urgent or emergency care if urgent treatment is needed; do not wait for a repeat-prescription response.
What can I expect from a renewal request?
Submission and payment do not guarantee approval or a particular renewal period. If approved, the prescription is sent directly to your selected pharmacy. Check your treatment and pharmacy details before personally confirming and submitting the application.
